What Maria wants you to know:

At the core of my practice is the belief that people have the ability to meet their goals and create a life experienced as worth living. My role as a therapist includes providing functional skills, cheerleading, and coaching to support you in reaching these goals. My therapeutic style is direct, collaborative, and authentic. I value the therapeutic alliance in my work and aim for my patients to feel respected and valued as people. My clinical interests include working with folks with pervasive emotion dysregulation and suicidal behaviors.  As a queer and trans person, I am also passionate about serving LGBTQ+ communities.
