Liz provides both mental health treatment for neurotypical and neurodiverse children ages 4-14, helping improve their quality of life and trajectory across the lifespan. She specializes in supporting children with ADHD, ASD, learning challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma and externalizing behaviors. Liz also has special training in treatment of selective mutism. Liz takes a strengths-based approach to conceptualization, integrating play and evidence-based practices into sessions with children. She also provides support and coaching for parents, collaborating with them regularly.

Liz received her MA from the University of Washington's Applied Child and Adolescent Psychology program and her MIT from City University. Her training sites included the Autism Clinic at Seattle Children's Hospital and at the Brave Seattle private practice clinic under the supervision of Dr. Tracey Ward. Liz is the former director of learning services at Bertschi School, worked as an ADHD coach at the Hallowell Todaro Center for ADHD, and taught elementary school in public and independent schools. She also served on the Board of Directors for Postpartum Support International of Washington State, leading the warm line for new parents in crisis.

Liz's training includes: RUBI parent support for parents of autistic youth, CBT ERP for anxiety/OCD and SM, BA for depression, in vivo treatments, short-term crisis care, UC Davis PC-CARE PMT, and suicide prevention. She co-lead parent DBT and RUBI groups, provided 1-1 care with children and teens, school-based care, and lead training for school staff. In addition to her mental health expertise, Liz has special training in school leadership, mentoring, Wired for Reading, the Slingerland method, ADHD coaching, and Social Thinking.

As an LMHCA , Liz will be practicing under the supervision of Steven Behling, PhD, ABPP. Dr. Behling is a licensed psychologist in the State of Washington (PSYC.PY.60232031) and is a Board Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
